This agreement confirms MAPFRE’s commitment to the Spanish aeronautical sector, a business area in which the Global Risks Unit is a global benchmark.

MAPFRE has signed a collaboration agreement with ANDALUCÍA AEROSPACE, Helice Business Cluster. This is a decided commitment by the insurance company to the aeronautical sector, which offers significant business opportunities in a growing group that needs insurance solutions for many of its products and processes.

This agreement, signed by Luis Ángel Schweizer, MAPFRE’s Regional General Manager in the Southwest Region (Ceuta, Cadiz, Extremadura, Huelva, and Seville) and by Antonio Gómez-Guillamón, CEO of ANDALUCIA AEROSPACE, Helice Business Cluster, lays the foundation for what will be a solid collaboration between the two companies.

“With this agreement, which will allow us, among other aspects, to have visibility with the companies that make up the cluster and provide them with our selection of services, MAPFRE demonstrates its dedication and commitment to a business sector that promotes technological development and investment in R&D and job creation,” Luis Ángel Schweizer stated.

MAPFRE is the leading insurance company in the Spanish aviation market (with a share of 84%) by business volume in the modalities of fuselages, third party liability, and satellites. Its selection of products includes coverage for small air carriers, drones, aviation third party liability, handling, and small manufacturers. It is the company trusted by around 800,000 SMEs and freelancers to insure their businesses, in addition to personal and professional risks. It has 6.5 million clients, close to 11,000 employees in Spain, and around 3,000 offices throughout Spain, where clients can receive personalized consulting.
