Our teams are specialized in the comprehensive management of claims from companies categorized as Global Risks, taking into account the specificities of their business field and the territory in which it is developed.

We accompany our contacts, customers and brokers, providing the added value that is required of us through centralized and coordinated management of their claims and applying the highest quality standards required through our international processing teams, guarantors of local regulatory compliance.

Based on rigorous technical management, we advocate for the transparency of processes with a fluid dialogue between the various participants – customers, brokers, adjusters, lawyers and reinsurers – facilitating and promoting communication and proper coordination to carry out the resolution of the cases with the highest degree of efficiency possible.

We are committed to honoring the commitment undertaken through insurance and reinsurance contracts through a rigorous and professional interpretation thereof, ensuring that we do not undermine the legitimate interests and rights of the parties. To do this, we advocate for the ongoing training of our teams in the different insurance solutions and in the type of risks insured by our customers, reaching a high degree of specialization that elevates them to real centers of competition at the service of our network of local companies and partners.

The MAPFRE GLOBAL RISKS Claims team manages all claims from the MGR insurance portfolio in the Damages, Engineering, Third Party Liability, Aviation, Maritime and Goods Sectors, in full coordination with the counterpart teams in the MAPFRE companies of the country where the incident occurs.

Our work is carried out in close collaboration with the Insured Party, given the proximity that the local MAPFRE provides due to its direct relationship with the Insured Party. This proximity allows MGR Claims to connect with the peculiarities of the applicable local insurance legislation and with the idiosyncrasies and insurance culture of each country.

With full autonomy in decision making during the management of the claim, we maintain constant coordination with our Underwriting team to have the complete and adequate perspective of the applicable insurance contract.

We have a network of technical and legal collaborators with a consolidated reputation and experience at global level.

We maintain a smooth and constant communication with brokers, reinsurers and other participants in the corresponding insurance program, as well as with the local Claims teams.

We are an experienced, specialized and stable team that includes Senior Engineers, Lawyers and specialists in the different sectors in which we work.

We are technicians and apply technical criteria, but we are not insensitive to the needs of the Insured Party, so we combine rigor and flexibility.

We know the details of the activity carried out by our Insured Parties, which provides an added bonus in the management of the circumstances of the claims, within the framework of the applicable policy.
