MAPFRE’s International Global Risks Seminars emerged from the 1st National Symposium on the Protection and Prevention of Industrial Risks in 1969, which consisted of the Fire Protection Competitions. They have evolved over the years, gaining prestige and diversity. Initially focused on safety and prevention, talks and presentations were incorporated in 1993 with two areas of discussion: Insurance and Safety.

The holding of the Fire Protection Competitions, in which firefighting teams from insured companies participate, has become a tradition. These competitions, originally focused on prevention, place great importance on protection teams and the participating firefighters. The 2024 edition, under the theme “The Opportunities of a Revolutionary Present”, promises to be a relevant and enriching event that will offer valuable meeting opportunities for participating professionals.
